Bebe Rexha was hit in the face and injured by a cellphone hurled from the audience at a show in New York City Sunday night. Bebe was taken to a hospital after the phone hit her. A bruise and a bandage were visible above her left eye. Rexha, 33, was on stage at Pier 17, a rooftop venue in Manhattan, when the phone was thrown. Video posted on social media showed the phone ricocheting off the artist’s head, and then Rexha grabbing her face and sinking to her knees. A 27-year-old New Jersey man was awaiting arraignment Monday after being arrested on an assault charge.
Lainey Wilson made a little girl’s dream come true at her show in St. Louis on Saturday. Actually, it was TWO dreams at once. The girl was holding a sign that read “Lainey, my Dad bet me a pony if I get to get on stage at my first country concert ever.” Lainey brought her up to the stage, read the sign out loud, and then made it clear that dad better come through on the pony. She also gave her a great bit hug . . . and autographed the poster. The second dream is the fact that the girl got to MEET Lainey. She was so excited she started crying as soon as she hit the stage and couldn’t stop.
John Goodman has lost 200 pounds through diet and exercise. He says, quote, “I’m getting to the age where I can’t afford to sit still anymore . . . I wanted to live life better.”

Here’s a fascinating anecdote from the charts: Jelly Roll has become the first ever artist to have one song simultaneously in the Top 10 of country airplay and mainstream rock airplay charts. As you may have guessed, it’s his song “Need a Favor”. It’s currently #3 on the mainstream rock airplay chart . . . and #9 on the country rock airplay chart. Other artists have been on both charts at the same time with DIFFERENT songs.
Tanya Tucker is mourning the loss of her chestnut horse Ginnin Jessie. He’s the son of the late Jessie Rey, who passed away in 2019 and was featured in her song “Bring My Flowers Now”. She said, quote, “Apiece of me went with him and what remains will never be the same. I think [he and Jessie Rey] are both together and will be waiting on me. You’re free now to run like the wind!” In case you’re wondering, Ginnin is NOT the same horse she rode at the Grand Ole Opry earlier this month.
Dierks Bentley coaches his son Knox’s hockey team, so when he gives instructions, he has to scream over the glass partition. Problem is, Knox also plays Lacrosse, and he has to remind Dierks to NOT scream during those games.
We’re not the only ones who laughed at Blake Shelton’s painful attempt to do Lauren Alaina’s “Thicc As Thieves” dance. When Luke Bryan saw Lauren’s Instagram post he wrote this in the caption. “I didn’t think anything could be worse than your singing . . . until now.”
