Miranda Lambert’s husband Brendan McLoughlin posts so many shirtlessphotos that we barely pay attention anymore. But you know who does? Jelly Roll and Adam Doleac. On Wednesday, Brendan posted two pics after he finished going on a run. He’s glistening with sweat in both of them, and in one he’s drinking from a water bottle. The caption reads, “Love a good five-miler before the rain. Super appreciative [to] Yeti for keeping that water ice cold for when it was needed.” Brendan’s thirst traps tend to get comments from Miranda’s female friends. Those were there, but so were these. Jelly Roll wrote, “[Geez], Thor. Save some attention for the rest of us on this app. Love you bubba.” Adam chimed in with, “Ain’t nobody looking at that Yeti.”Miranda also gave Brendan due props, writing, “Damn babe. All the fitness vibes.” Then she got real, quote, “Now let’s go eat a steak.”
In honor of Father’s Day, Eric Church was asked to describe his dad. In case you didn’t know, the apple didn’t fall far from the tree. Quote, “My dad’s a great guy, honest, very ‘call it like he sees it’ . . . which is where I get a lot of that. “No B.S. I’m gonna tell you how I feel whether you like it or not. There’s also an honesty and an integrity that my dad carries himself with that I’ve always admired.”
Carrie Underwood will be honoring two great men on Father’s Day. There’s her own dad, and there’s her husband Mike Fisher who’s a devoted father to their two sons. The 76-year-old, who has served on Hillsdale College’s board as vice president since 2003, accepted the position following the retirement of chairman William Brodbeck. Hillsdale College, a private Christian school, was founded in 1844 and is located approximately 70 miles southwest of Ann Arbor.
