Reba McEntire recently wrapped her “Reba: Live In Concert” tour at Madison Square Garden.  During an interview with Willie Geist of “Today”, she was asked what the experience was like. Her answer went in a direction that I didn’t expect.  “I went in [thinking], ‘It’s just another arena’ because it holds such history for me and my family. “Grandpap roped there during the rodeo in the ’30s, daddy roped there during the rodeo in the ’40s, and it felt like they were with us there at Madison Square Garden Saturday night.” So, I guess, technically, Reba is NOT the first McEntire to perform at the Garden.  Even though her dad and “grandpap” competed, there was an audience.  Those people must’ve been impressed too. Her grandfather, John Wesley, was a world-champion steer roper in 1934, and her dad, Clark, held the same title three times . . . in 1957, 1958, and 1961.

Morgan Wallen took a tumble during a show in Louisville, Kentucky Thursday nightHe was in the middle of the song “Heartless”, and the stage was covered in fog.  It looks like he tripped on something, but he’s a pro.  He only missed one line before he popped back up and kept going. Someone up front posted a video of it, and he was fine.  He immediately laughed it off and high-fived a fan. In other news, Morgan’s Billboard stats haven’t tumbled at all.  He actually just set another new record. He’s now the first artist to have three songs in the Billboard Country Airplay top ten all at the same time.  The chart launched 33 years ago in 1990, and no one else has ever done it. “Thought You should Know” is #7 . . . “Last Night” is #8 . . . and “One Thing at a Time” is #10. Morgan Wallen’s “One Thing at a Time” is STILL the #1 album in America.

Jimmie Allen and his wife Alexis are separating after almost two years of marriage.  He announced it Friday on social media, and also revealed that Alexis is pregnant with the couple’s third child together.  “Lex and I have made the decision to separate.  We can also share that we’ll be welcoming another child later this year.  We remain committed to co-parenting with love and respect for one another [and] request privacy.”

Sam Hunt and his wife Hannah are having another child.  He sprung the news to the crowd at his show in Vegas on Friday.  This continues the turnaround for Sam and Hannah who almost got divorced last year. They reconciled about a month before Hannah gave birth to their daughter Lucy, who arrived LAST May.  Sam is loving fatherhood, so maybe we’ll be talking about this again next year.

Kenny Chesney caught Kelsea Ballerini taking a quick nap on a late-night flight after their show in Little Rock, Arkansas.  He posted a photo with the crew posing behind her and said, quote, “Sorry, Kelsea!  We love ya.”

Brad Paisley will headline Nashville’s July 4th extravaganza again this year . . . after doing it two years ago.  The event is free and open to the public, and it isn’t just Brad.  There will be other performers . . . The War and Treaty, Langhorne Slim and Tiera Kennedy . . . along with an epic fireworks show.

USA Gymnastics star and world champion Simone Biles and NFL player Jonathan Owens are married. The two met online right before the pandemic hit and Owens that the COVID-19 shutdown created time for them to get to know each other better.

“The Super Mario Brothers Movie” won the weekend box office with another $58.2 million.

There’s an A.I. photo of a Mount Rushmore of Disney Channel ladies with Raven-Symoné, Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, and Zendaya.  Fans are pretty upset because Hilary Duff isn’t on it. Friday, Morgan Wallen released his new song “I Ain’t Coming Back” with Post Malone and it’s already #1 on the iTunes country chart, and the…
