“Twilight” is getting the TV series treatment.  It’s in the early stages so no word if it’ll be a remake of the books or a spinoff.

Will Ferrell is producing and starring in a comedy series about golf.  He’ll play a professional golfer who becomes the face of a controversial new league competing with the PGA.

Luke Bryan was on Tuesday’s “Jimmy Kimmel Show”, and they listened to a song created by artificial intelligence.  It was supposed to be inspired by Luke’s music, but it wasn’t even close. The voice was boring and generic, and the lyrics and music were laughable.  On the bright side, if this is the future of A.I. music, real artists have nothing to worry about.  There was another interesting moment during the interview.  Jimmy showed a photo of Luke in high school dressed as a girl.  Specifically, in a full cheerleader outfit with a V-Neck top, and pleated skirt. Luke and some guys were cheerleaders for a powder puff football game.  He said quote,  “That photo was really never supposed to leave [my mom’s] home.  And here we have it.”

“I Hope You Dance” by Lee Ann Womack is trending 23 years after it came out, all thanks to the Netflix dating show “Love Is Blind”. We won’t spoil the finale in case you haven’t watched yet.  But it was featured several times this season.  Two cast members named Zack and Bliss had an early connection, because they both loved the song and knew all the lyrics. After the finale last Friday, it saw a 24% bump in streaming.  Then there was another big surge after the reunion episode on Sunday. A lot of young people had never heard it before, apparently.  So, it’s just like what happened with the Kate Bush song “Running Up That Hill” after it was on “Stranger Things” last year. Early in the season, Zach talked about “I Hope You Dance” . . . but called Lee Ann Womack “Lee Ann WOMBAT” by mistake. She had a good sense of humor about it when she posted the clip on TikTok the other day.  She said, “Just called me Lee Ann Wombat from now on.”

It’s been two months since Shania Twain put out “Queen of Me”.  And now, a deluxe version is on the way.  It’s called “Queen of Me:  Royal Edition”, and it’ll come out NEXT Friday.  She says it’ll include, “a couple of rogue tracks that didn’t quite fit the concept,” but are important to her personally.

Peyton Manning is not a good singer, but that doesn’t stop him from doing it at the drop of a hat.  Jordan Davis shared a clip them at a recent event butchering the Johnny Cash classic “Folsom Prison Blues”.

Lainey Wilson’s appearance on “Yellowstone” could win her an Emmy.  I’m not talking about her acting, though.  One of the songs she performed, “Smell Like Smoke”, was submitted for nomination in the “outstanding music and lyrics category”.

Kelsea Ballerini, Martina McBride, Sheryl Crow, Amy Grant, Mickey Guyton, Maren Morris, Margo Price, Jason Isbell, Allison Moorer and tons of others sent a letter to the Tennessee General Assembly this week asking legislators to pass “common sense gun safety Legislation”.

Reba McEntire is releasing an accompanying album to her upcoming book, also called “Not That Fancy”.  It includes all songs from the “Revisited” portion of her album, “Revised, Remixed, Revisited”, along with three stripped down hits like “Till You Love Me”, and one new song.  It comes out October 6th.

Jon Pardi’s wife Summer posted a clip of herself and their baby daughter Presley “crashing Daddy’s workday”.  They’re on a dirt road near a wooded area, with mom and dad taking turns holding Presley.  There’s also a good look at Jon’s Case 1150M Dozer.  (Presley Fawn Pardi was born in February.)

Tiger Woods just had another surgery on the leg he injured in his 2021 car accident.

Joseph “Don’t Call Me Joey” Lawrence is 47. Joe Longo on “Melissa and Joey”, Joey Russo on “Blossom”. He came in third place on the third season of “Dancing with the Stars”.

Carmen Electra is 51.

Crispin Hellion Glover is 59.  George McFly in “Back to the Future”.

Don Mattingly is 62.  Former New York Yankees star.  He’s coached for the Yankees, the Dodgers, and now the Marlins.

Clint Howard is 64.  Ron’s brother.  Some of you may remember him as the kid on the “Gentle Ben” TV series from the late ’60s

Jessica Lange is 74.  “American Horror Story” star who got her start in 1976’s “King Kong”

Ryan O’Neal is 82.  He was diagnosed with stage-four prostate cancer in 2012.

George Takei is 86.  Sulu on “Star Trek”

99-year-old Dick Van Dyke proved he’s still got it at his Vandy Camp charity event on Sunday. While seated onstage, he led a sing-along performance of several songs, like “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” and “Let’s Go Fly a Kite” from “Mary Poppins”. He also sang the theme songs from the movie “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang” and his classic…

There’s an A.I. photo of a Mount Rushmore of Disney Channel ladies with Raven-Symoné, Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, and Zendaya.  Fans are pretty upset because Hilary Duff isn’t on it. Friday, Morgan Wallen released his new song “I Ain’t Coming Back” with Post Malone and it’s already #1 on the iTunes country chart, and the…
