Nick Lachey has been ordered to attend anger management AND Alcoholics Anonymous, because of a confrontation with a photographer in March of last year. Nick was walking with his wife Vanessa and a friend. He noticed a woman taking his picture from inside her car, and reached in and tried to grab her phone. He also allegedly punched her car window. He wasn’t charged, and if he successfully completes the required meetings and classes, he won’t be. After the incident, Nick denied being “violent” or “physical” with the woman, but he said, “I clearly overreacted. I’ve been in this game long enough to know that their antics are sadly part of the deal. Stupid of me. Done.”
Kelsea Ballerini basically said becoming a huge cross-over artist is the goal. “I want to play arenas. I want to be the main draw. I want the pyrotechnics. I want to cross over, dare I say.” One of Kelsea’s big influences as a kid was Shania Twain, who definitely crossed over into pop. She also talked about growing up listening to a lot of Top 40 stuff, because that’s what her mom liked. So that’s another reason she’s drawn to it. From a pure popularity standpoint, crossing over worked well for Shania, and Taylor Swift.
Carly Pearce has been one of the openers on Blake Shelton’s Back to the Honky Tonk Tour. Gwen Stefani heard that Carly was a fan of her GXVE beauty products, so she went backstage at one of the shows and gifted her with a box of makeup goodies. She even posted a clip of herself surprising Carly. Taste of Country asked Carly if the two of them might end up on stage performing together during the tour.
