Brantley Gilbert thinks did an interview with Outsider.com, and talked about the video from the other day of him jumping off stage to kick a guy out of a recent concert.  The guy reportedly hit a GIRL in the crowd, and Brantley saw it. In the interview, he talked about how people seem to be bigger jerks in general these days.  And he thinks it’s partly because there’s less of a threat they’ll be PUNCHED for it. “A lot of the problems in our society right now stem from the fact that people don’t get punched in the face anymore.”  He said it applies to people being jerks online too, and hiding behind their laptops. He added that he’s learned a lot of lessons in life by being punched in the face.

Kane Brown got everyone’s attention yesterday when he posted a photo of his badly burned left hand and lower wrist.  The skin looked waxy and swollen, and there were nasty red lesions.  He captioned it, “Worst pain ever!” As it made the rounds, so did the comments.  People wondered what the heck happened.  Is it a burn . . . a botched tattoo removal . . . how serious is it . . . will there be long-term damage? And then out nowhere he deleted the post, and shared what seemed to be an explanation on his Instagram Story.  Quote, “Guys working on a project.”  “The Tennessean” reached out to Kane’s team and they confirmed that he’s NOT actually injured, and IS working on projects for 2023.  So, perhaps we’ll be seeing that hand in a music video, TV show, or movie.

Luke Bryan and his wife Caroline used to make a big deal out of Valentine’s Day.  But not this year, and that worried their fans. So on Wednesday Caroline wrote this on her Instagram story, quote, “We’ve gotten a lot of comments about not doing a Valentine’s post.  [Truth is], we don’t care.  We’re too old, we’ve been together too long, we just don’t think about it.”

Garth Brooks let it slip during his Monday Facebook session, “Inside Studio G”, that he’s releasing a duets album.  His wife Trisha Yearwood asked if he’d want to do a duet record, but he said there’s already one coming out this year. He didn’t say who the duets are with.  But Trisha said, quote, “Maybe after THAT album we can work on our duet album.”

Tractor Supply Company partnered with Lainey Wilson, Ashley McBryde, Jimmie Allen, Dustin Lynch, and Kat & Alex, along with the Opry, to launch something called the “Emerging Artists Program.”  It’s basically a platform to discover and develop new country music artists.

• “The Lost Files:  Exhibit A”, Craig Campbell.  This is his third album.  It’s a collection of songs that were rejected by his old label.  So he put them all together for this independent release.

• “Bluebird Days”, Jordan Davis.  This is his second album.  It features his duet with Danielle Bradbery on “Midnight Crisis” . . . plus, “Buy Dirt”, his hit with Luke Bryan.

99-year-old Dick Van Dyke proved he’s still got it at his Vandy Camp charity event on Sunday.
