Billy Ray Cyrus and singer-songwriter Firerose are officially engaged. He confirmed it, “It’s a happy, pure love.” If you’ve been following any of this, you may recall they met a long time ago on the set of “Hannah Montana”. They started out as friends, and then developed a professional relationship, and that led to romance. She moved into his Franklin, Tennessee farm early last summer, and he proposed in August. No word when they’re getting married. Firerose is not her birth name. Her grandma called her that, so she ran with it. She did eventually get it legally changed. Plus, she’s 34 years old. (Billy Ray is 61.) They have a new song, “Time”.
