Dan + Shay Aren’t Fooling Around About Their Debut Album Anniversary

April 1st 2014 – that’s the day that Dan + Shay‘s debut album Where It All Began was released.

The 12-track project included the number-one hit “Nothin’ Like You”…

and fan favorites “19 You + Me”…

and “Show You Off”…

So, on April 1st 2022, Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney reflected on their first album – and their first social media post – by sharing, “It’s Friiiiiday April 1st and that means it is the 8 year anniversary of our debut album, Where It All Began. Here’s a throwback to the 8th song on the album and first thing we ever posted as a band. Even after all this time, we’re still just two best friends who love making music together. Thanks to everyone who believed in these songs and changed our lives forever. We’ve been hanging out in the studio writing all day, so apologies for the late post, but drop a comment and let us know your favorite song or memory from the Where It All Began era. We’re gonna get all emo and read as many as we can. Much love, and hope you have an amazing weekend.”

As the guys look back, fans are looking forward to later this month when Dan + Shay will be out with Kenny Chesney on the Here And Now 2022 tour – which kicks off in Tampa on the 23rd.

Dan + Shay will be bring their long list of hits to fans who come out to the shows – including their recent single from their Good Things: The Album – “Steal My Love.”
