Carly Pearce got her Christmas wish granted mid-way through 2021 when she got to write and record with Ashley McBryde.

When Carly had the chance to ask Ashley is she wanted to work together, Ashley replied with a big euthanistic “Yes.”

The result of the collaboration is “Never Wanted To Be That Girl” – which is now a Top-20 hit (and climbing) hit on country radio.

Carly and Ashley recently released the Behind the Scenes Video for their song “Never Wanted To Be That Girl.”
