Disney did NOT dump TIM ALLEN as Buzz Lightyear because of his conservative politics.  Tim is STILL the voice of the TOY version – original version of Buzz. And Tim still works with Disney on projects that involve that version. But since the new movie “Lightyear” is about the “real” Buzz and not the toy, they felt they needed a fresh voice.  That’s why they chose CHRIS EVANS.

JON BON JOVI tested positive for COVID-19 shortly before he was set to perform in Miami last Saturday. He was doing a special event called “Runaway with JBJ” which included photo-ops, a Halloween costume party, an acoustic performance, and “Q & A” sessions. Jon had to take a rapid test before the show and the concertgoers were unfortunately already at the venue. Jon’s rep said he’s quote, “fully vaccinated and feeling fine.”

On Saturday, Luke Bryan and his family went full-“American Gladiators” for Halloween.  They put on the costumes and had a gladiator competition on an inflatable obstacle course. The competitors included Luke, his wife Caroline, their sons Bo and Tate, and Luke’s mom LeClaire . . . and they battled each other in racing, climbing, tumbling, jousting and, I’m guessing, boasting. Caroline posted a video of it set to the music of Ozzy Osborne’s “Crazy Train”.  She captioned it, “When you’re the crazy family that everyone wonders about.  That’s us.  ‘American Gladiators’ for the day.  Happy Halloween everyone.” I’m not entirely sure what Luke and Caroline did yesterday, but she shared a photo of them dressed up as, well, here’s what she said in the caption:  “From ‘Gladiators’ to our true identities . . . ‘Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum’.  Halloween part two.”

LAUREN ALAINA won Halloween – her outfit was terrific . . . but you’d have to give half the credit to DOLLY PARTON.  Lauren wore a bunny outfit just like the one Dolly did on the cover of “Playboy” back in 1978.

THOMAS RHETT embraced his striking resemblance to Atlanta Braves pitcher IAN ANDERSON . . . by dressing up in a full Braves uniform.

RANDY HOUSER dressed his son Huck in an awesome Alan Jackson costume for Halloween.  The kid rocked Alan’s look in his “Chattahoochee” video.  He had the white hat, Dallas Cowboys shirt, and a kickass mustache.

Congratulations to TRAVIS DENNING who got engaged to his girlfriend Madison Montgomery on Saturday.  He proposed in New York City’s Central Park.  Madison is the daughter of John Michael Montgomery.  Travis is 28 and Madison is 25.

They released the trailer for “Monarch”.  That’s the upcoming Fox series starring TRACE ADKINS and SUSAN SARANDON.  The clip features a good dose of Trace singing a cover of Hank Jr.’s “A Country Boy Can Survive”.  “Monarch” premieres January 30th.

DIERKS BENTLEY talked his way into doing a portion of the Big Sugar bike race, which was October 24th in Bentonville, Arkansas.  It’s a 100-mile gravel race in the “rugged highlands” of the Ozark mountains . . . but Dierks could only do 50 miles because he had a show that night in Dallas.

Jennifer Aniston has launched her own hair care line of products called LolaVie.

Paul McCartney said in an interview that after John Lennon quit the Beatles, the remaining members jokingly talked about continuing the band as “The Threetles.”

West Wing star Richard Schiff has been hospitalized for COVID-19.

Mila Kunis says that her husband, Ashton Kutcher, gave himself pancreatitis because he was drinking “too much carrot juice” while preparing to play Steve Jobs in 2013’s Jobs.

Todd Rundgren will be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame this month, but fans won’t see him anywhere at the ceremony. Todd says he’s planning to sit out the ceremony and accompanying performances in Cleveland as he doesn’t think the institution should even exist.

Alec Baldwin Tweeted out who he thought was to blame for the death on the set on his latest movie, “Rust.” He says it’s all on the Assistant Director, David Halls, who Alec says should have checked all the chambers on that gun.
