The woman who was in charge of firearms on the set of the ALEC BALDWIN movie “Rust” got yelled at by NICOLAS CAGE on her previous film. 24-year-old Hannah Gutierrez-Reed was the armorer for another Western, called “The Old Way”. And Stu Brumbaugh, who worked as a key grip on that film, says several people complained about her. And this was just a few months ago. One time, she fired a gun without telling anyone on the set for the second time in three days, and Cage screamed, quote, “Make an announcement! You just blew my [effing] eardrums out!” Then he walked off the set in a rage. Brumbaugh felt Gutierrez-Reed was too young and inexperienced for the job, and that she put people in danger numerous times. By the way, “The Old Way” was just her first film, so “Rust” was only her second. Brumbaugh says, “Producers refuse to bring more experienced people because their rates are higher . . . So they hire a newbie who is energetic and wants the job and will do it with less people.” Gutierrez-Reed has pretty much wiped her social media, but on a podcast last month she said, “The best part about my job is just showing people who are normally kind of freaked out by guns how safe they can be . . .And how they’re not really problematic unless put in the wrong hands.”

CARRIE UNDERWOOD is making history again. Her duet with JASON ALDEAN on “If I Didn’t Love You” is Number One on “Billboard’s” Country Airplay chart. She’s the first female artist to have a #1 on that chart in the 2000s, 2010s, and 2020s. It’s also her 16th Country Airplay Number One, and that’s the most by any female country artist. Reba McEntire is next with 11.
ZENDAYA fans are upset that she’s only in “Dune” for about seven minutes. Especially since she’s all over the trailers, and has been “paraded” at press events like she’s one of the main stars.
TYLER RICH loves candy. In a recent interview he said, “I’ve never met anybody that has a bigger sweet tooth. [I’ll] buy a big package of Twizzlers or Red Vines licorice . . .”And I’ll go sit down in a movie and eat it with my popcorn. It’ll be gone. [I love] anything licorice-shaped and fruity for the most part, like Sweet Tarts Ropes, amazing. Twizzlers, like the filled Twizzlers. “Australian licorice, that’s my favorite, hands-down. Those big, thick, chunky pieces. Kinda taste like Gushers without the gush.”
TIM MCGRAW and his family have worn some incredible Halloween costumes through the years, and now we know why. He’s tight with a Hollywood costume designer, and that friendship paid-off, especially when his daughters were young. One year the guy sent him an authentic-looking Captain Jack Sparrow get-up. Another time he and Faith Hill were dressed as George and Martha Washington . . . and their little girls were decked-out in full colonial attire.

Riley Green is back at it again. He stuck another absolute unit of a buck with his bow and arrow down in Louisiana. This time of year, if Riley’s not picking guitar strings, he’s pulling back a bowstring and letting arrows fly at big bucks like this. For the second time in two weeks, he has notched another tag, filled the freezer, and put another trophy on the wall. He also helped keep the coyote population in check and took down one of them too. He’s been busy lately but always seems to find time to hunt.
Legendary standup comedian MORT SAHL died yesterday. He was 94.
Back in 2011, Miranda Cosgrove was touring the country for her debut album when her tour bus crashed in the middle of the night, leaving her with a severe ankle break that required surgery. But her injuries didn’t end the. Once she got her cast off, she discovered a random hole in her leg, about five inches above the ankle, that went in deeply towards the bone and that doctors couldn’t explain. “It was so strange, because when I woke up, I had a cast on, like a soft cast, and then later I went back and they removed it,” she recounted. “And then that’s when I noticed the hole. And I was asking questions like, ‘What’s this? What’s that?’ And then I was like, ‘Wait, why is there a hole in my leg?’ So they were like, ‘Oh, we didn’t do that.’ “Cosgrove, now 28, said that she eventually developed a scab over the spot, “but you could tell it was like somebody punctured through completely and cut a hole” in her leg.
