Watch Hank Williams Jr. Team With Florida Georgia Line & Jason Derulo for New “Monday Night Football” Theme

After a six year hiatus, Hank Williams Jr. returned to ESPN’s Monday Night Football with a retooled version of “All My Rowdy Friends Are Here on Monday Night” that features Florida Georgia Line and Jason Derulo. Hank and crew debuted the song before the New Orleans Saints played the Minnesota Vikings last night (Sept. 11).

Hank, who began performing the opening tune for Monday Night Football in 1989, was canned from the gig in 2011 after making comments about President Obama and then-Republican House Speaker John Boehner.

Apparently, six years has healed any wounds that remained between Hank and ESPN.

“I started in 1989 when ABC was celebrating the 20th season of Monday Night Football,” said Hank. “It soon became a staple that fans grew to expect and wanted to see and hear. I am thrilled to be back and bring the fans such a new and dynamic rendition of this anthem. Are you ready for some football? Cause I sure am!”

Hank Jr., Florida Georgia Line and Jason recorded audio tracks in May and filmed the opening video together on June 4 at the Marathon Music Works in Nashville.
