Before taking the stage at Boston’s TD Garden on July 7 with wife Faith Hill for their Soul2Soul Tour, Tim McGraw and opener Charlie Worsham performed an impromptu jam of Glen Campbell’s “Rhinestone Cowboy.”
The tune, which was written by Larry Weiss and became one of Glen’s signature hits, reached the top of both the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart and the all-genre Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1975.
