Josh Turner is sharing the lessons he’s learned as a father, husband and man of faith in Man Stuff: Thoughts on Faith, Family and Fatherhood. The book comes out April 29, and features a forward from Duck Dynasty star Jase Robertson.
Many Downton Abbey fans have likely shed a tear while watching the series, thanks to all the deaths, births and proposals that have transpired over the show’s four seasons. Now, one of the series’ stars reveals who makes her cry: Taylor Swift. Michelle Dockery, who plays Lady Mary Crawley on Downton Abbey, says the last time she cried was at one of Taylor’s shows. Why? “My godchildren went to see [her] in concert and got to meet her. They literally ran toward her and hugged her, and it was amazing.” “I got big bonus points for that,” Dockery adds. “I’ll remind them when they are teenagers.”
Actual induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame is still a few years off for Miranda Lambert, but some of her stuff is going on display in the museum’s new exhibition, Miranda Lambert: Backstage Access. Miranda’s gowns, stage costumes and awards will tell the story of her life in 2013, and her own tweets will be incorporated into the exhibition as well. * Son of God — The shortened version of History Channel’s The Bible miniseries tells the story of Jesus’ life. Rated PG-13.
* Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues — Super-Sized R-Rated Version — Will Ferrell’s comedy is re-released as an R-rated film with 763 new jokes. It will be in theaters for one week only. Paul Rudd, Steve Carell, and Christina Applegate also star in the sequel.
All eyes will be on Hollywood this Sunday, when the 86th Academy Awards will be held at the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center. Ellen DeGeneres will host the ceremony. The network’s coverage will begin at 7 p.m. with red carpet interviews.

Angelina Jolie is an actress, director and now a cook, thanks to some lessons from her personal chef. The 38-year-old actress got some tips on cooking healthy meals for her children. Angelina’s kids are the “worst eaters,” according to the source, who adds, it’s not easy feeding six kids who “want to eat different things at different times.” The source says Angelina figured it was time to get the situation under control and is “very proud” of her new skill.
Jamie Lee Curtis on Tuesday night helped out a friend in Los Angeles who suffered an apparent overdose. TMZ reports the unnamed female friend had a violent reaction to a combination of alcohol and prescription medication. Curtis tried to drive the friend to the hospital, but when the friend’s condition worsened, the Activia pitchwoman called 911. The friend eventually received treatment at a hospital and was released.
