Alaska Moose Hunting with special speaker Steve Sorensen to be held on Friday March 12, 2010 at the Yoder Restaurant on Rt. 23 in New Holland, Pa. 17557. The doors open at 5:15 PM for various displays and the Dinner starts at 6:15 PM. The Tickets are $20.00 and can be purchased by calling 717-733-2797 at Grace Fellowship Church 822 Pointview Ave., Ephrata, Pa. 17522. This event is sponsored by the Ephrata area churches.

Scrapbooking CROP (Fundraiser)

Location: Welsh Mountain Communty Center

The Welsh Mountain Community Center, 564 Sandmine Rd, New Holland will be holding two spring scrapbooking “crops” to raise funds to benefit the park. Spaces (2 persons at each 8’ table) will be available on a first come first served basis and our $25 fee will include lunch, snacks, goodie bag, and door prizes. Advanced reservations requested. Missions Conference (Community Event)

Location: Calvary Monument Bible Church

“While There’s Still Time” is the theme of this year’s Missions Conference to be held at Calvary Monument Bible Church, Mine & Kinzer Roads, Paradise, March 7-14. Missionaries from around the world will report on their ministries through testimonies, picture reports and small group sessions. The Missions Conference will include a Children’s Program for children in grades 1-6, as well as the regular AWANA program Wednesday evening. Other events for the week include a Ladies’ Night Out, a Men’s “All-You-Can-Eat” Breakfast, and a special seminars throughout the week for teens.
